Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.## **WHAT YOU’LL DO:*** Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.* Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.* Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.* Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.* Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.* Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.* Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.* Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.* Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.* Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.* Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.* Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.* Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.* The duties and responsibilities describe this position's general nature and scope of work. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
