Job description

Our client is a leading financial services organization seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join its growing team. This role requires someone who can proactively drive multiple concurrent projects, identify risks and blockers before they become problems, and bring structure and rigor to a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple concurrent projects, tracking status, timelines, dependencies, and risks
  2. Own corporate, finance, or HR systems projects end-to-end — from initial scoping and requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and go-live
  3. Proactively identify blockers and gaps, and escalate/resolve before they impact delivery
  4. Run and lead project status calls and working sessions with project teams
  5. Partner closely with Business Analysts, who are also performing PM-adjacent work
  6. Build and assemble executive-ready decks and presentations to communicate status, plans, and outcomes
  7. Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies depending on project needs
  8. Use AI tools to support communications, documentation, and deck creation

Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of strong, demonstrated project management experience
  2. Demonstrated experience managing projects involving corporate, finance, or HR systems from inception to completion
  3. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail or momentum
  4. Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  5. Comfortable working across both Agile and Waterfall frameworks
  6. Proficiency in PowerPoint required
  7. Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily workflow for communications and deck-building
  8. PMP certification is a plus
