Job description

Dynapower is seeking a Project Manager for the Defense business segment. This is an individual contributor role responsible for executing defense-related programs from order intake through delivery. This position manages scope, schedules, budgets, and risk for complex power electronics projects while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer stakeholders. The Project Manager ensures disciplined execution, clear communication, and alignment to customer and business objectives. This role is critical to delivering predictable outcomes, supporting customer satisfaction, and enabling Dynapower's continued growth.
General Responsibilities
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and status reports
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities
• Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Assists in performing risk management to minimize project risks
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • A university degree in technical field (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, industrial hardware, or other regulated environments preferred
  • Experience working with regulations such as ISO9001 preferred
  • Experience leading projects for an OEM
  • PMP certificate or experience as a project manager
  • SW, MS Project, or other project management platform experience
  • Demonstrated technical background in power conversion systems
  • Demonstrated ability to create new and/or refine processes focused on efficiency and growth of business
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Base Salary Range: $81,600.00 - 163,680 USD Annual
