BAS Project Manager - Long Island, NY - $100,000-$125,000 + CommissionAbout the Opportunity:

A reputable building automation contractor serving the New York metro region is seeking an experienced BAS Project Manager to lead and execute automation projects throughout the five boroughs. This position is ideal for a seasoned project professional looking for long-term stability, strong benefits, and the chance to support a growing, well-established team.

Position Overview:
  • Title: BAS Project Manager
  • Location: Deer Park, NY / Long Island
  • Territory: Greater NYC - Five Boroughs
  • Status: Full-Time | In-Office
Ideal Candidate:
  • 5-10+ years of experience managing DDC/BAS projects
  • Delta Controls experience - preferred
  • Working knowledge of Visio - preferred
  • Exposure to JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, or Automated Logic - a plus
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead BAS projects from early design through commissioning and final turnover
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal teams
  • Perform project site visits, manage change orders, and handle procurement of parts
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and project reports
  • Supervise multiple subcontractors and field technicians across active jobs
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and support system commissioning and verification
  • Handle RFIs, participate in pre-bid and turnover meetings, and ensure successful project closeout
  • Oversee timely material purchasing, delivery, and job readiness
  • Collaborate with sales during handoff and pre-book planning sessions
Compensation & Benefits:
