  • Serve as the primary facilitator for project execution by identifying obstacles, resolving issues, driving decisions, and ensuring projects maintain forward momentum.
  • Partner closely with the Product Manager to evaluate and manage trade-offs involving scope, schedule, cost, risk, resource allocation, and customer commitments.
  • Facilitate technical and business risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation to reduce execution risk and improve project outcomes.
  • Lead regular project reviews, action item tracking, and cross-functional meetings to ensure accountability and timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain accurate project metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting to communicate project health and support informed decision-making.

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline project management practices, improve team collaboration, and increase execution efficiency.
  • Build strong working relationships across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and other functional teams to facilitate collaboration and resolve cross-functional challenges.
  • Ensure all Stage-Gate requirements, documentation, and approvals are completed in accordance with established product development processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field required.

Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of project management experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or new product development environment.
  • Managing cross-functional projects using a structured project management methodology.
  • Working within a Stage-Gate or similar product development process is preferred.
  • Managing customer-facing projects is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive project execution and consistently deliver measurable project results in a fast-paced product development environment.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify obstacles, facilitate decisions, and accelerate project progress by driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills with the ability to anticipate challenges, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure while providing calm, objective leadership during changing priorities, project risks, and critical issues.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, dashboards, status reporting, and project metrics.
  • Working knowledge of Jira or similar project management platforms, with the ability to leverage project management tools to improve team collaboration, transparency, and execution.
  • Ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of products, technologies, customers, and market applications to facilitate productive discussions, identify project risks, and support informed decision-making.
