Our client, a leading North American energy infrastructure organization, is driving responsible energy development and connecting resources to global markets through strategically positioned export infrastructure.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale energy projects. This is a high-impact role supporting major infrastructure developments, with a focus on disciplined execution, stakeholder alignment, and long-term value creation.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be accountable for advancing projects from late-stage development through execution and handover, ensuring alignment with corporate delivery frameworks, safety standards, and business objectives.

You will act as the central leader across cross-functional teams, maintaining oversight of scope, schedule, cost, and quality, while ensuring strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects through execution and close-out
  • Oversee scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality performance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Manage contractors, procurement strategy, and project costs
  • Identify risks, manage changes, and report to senior leadership
  • Engage key stakeholders including operations, regulators, and Indigenous groups

Qualifications

  • P.Eng. (Alberta and/or BC)
  • 10+ years managing large oil & gas or energy projects (midstream preferred)
  • Experience across full project lifecycle (FEED through execution)
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Experience with project controls tools (Primavera or similar)

Why This Role?

  • Opportunity to lead high-profile, strategically important infrastructure projects
  • Work with a collaborative, growth-focused organization committed to operational excellence
  • Be part of major development initiatives supporting access to global energy markets
  • Hybrid work environment with strong team collaboration
