The Project Manager role supports multiple jobs at a time in the areas of safety management, safety staffing and temporary labor support primarily within industrial sites and works in collaboration with our Recruiting Team to meet client needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with ResponsAble clients to understand project staffing needs
  • Hire, onboard and effectively communicate job requirements for placed employees
  • Provide job orientation and kick off for employees starting new projects / jobs
  • Conduct routine job site visits for ongoing jobs to assure both client and employee needs are met
  • Initiate HSE incident investigations in response to any project reported incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure fulfillment of all project placements and effectively manage turnover
  • Initiate disciplinary action for violation of policy and procedures where applicable
  • Database Management; maintain internal database and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for active projects and employees
  • Account Management; Develop and maintain business relationships with customer’s onsite supervision/management. Communicate regularly on employee’s performance, assuring work quality and any present or future work opportunities
  • Manage awarded projects through the full project life cycle from Initiation to Closing; ensure customer expectations are being met; manage employee morale; Ensure assigned tasks are being executed to both client and ResponsAble expectations


Recruiting:

Source and review new applicant resumes

  • Schedule Interviews and Screening of Applicants
  • Maintain relationships with potential employees for future opportunities
  • Make recommendations and selections for placement on client projects / jobs


Position Requirements:

  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience managing projects involving the staffing and management of personnel is desired
  • Experience in Industrial Safety and Safety related areas is required
  • Available to work flexible and dynamic work schedules as client needs dictate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of hiring and onboarding processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and business applications
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to visit job sites
  • Limited overnight travel
