IT Operations Specialist

Dalio Family Office Overview:

The office is headquartered in Westport, CT with regional offices in New York City, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.

Position Summary:

The IT Operations Specialist serves as a regional lead for end-user technology support, endpoint management, and identity and access administration across global workforce. This role partners with a UAE-based team to provide follow-the-sun support across multiple time zones. The role delivers hands-on support to corporate and engineering users while helping maintain the operational controls that support compliance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with global IT and Security Engineering teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment. This role requires a regular presence in both our New York City and Westport, CT offices, with time split between the two locations based on business needs, in line with our 3 to 5 day a week in office policy.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for IT support, with prompt triage, resolution, and ticket hygiene.
  • Partner with UAE and Singapore-based IT colleagues to deliver consistent support across global time zones.
  • Manage the macOS endpoint environment, including provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance, and lifecycle management through Jamf; support Windows devices through Intune as needed.
  • Administer identity and access management through Okta and Entra ID.
  • Provision and deprovision access to SaaS applications, including Slack, Atlassian, Figma, and approved AI tools.
  • Enforce endpoint security standards, including encryption, MDM compliance, EDR health, and patch management; drive remediation of non-compliant devices.
  • Support secure connectivity for office and remote users, including Wi-Fi, Zscaler, Tailscale, AV/conferencing systems, and printing services.
  • Assist with IT and cybersecurity incident response activities, coordinating with Security Engineering and managed detection partners.
  • Support ISO 27001 operational controls relevant to IT operations, including access reviews, asset management, change records, and audit evidence collection. Maintain documentation to a standard suitable for audit.
  • Support vendor relationships for IT services in region, including hardware suppliers, ISPs, telephony, and software vendors.
  • Contribute to cross regional IT projects working in partnership with global IT and Security Engineering teams.
  • Produce and maintain user-facing guidance, internal runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide white-glove support to senior leaders and support critical business events, including occasional after-hours assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years' experience in IT operations, end-user support, or systems administration
  • Hands-on experience managing macOS environments with Jamf, including device management, patch policies, compliance reporting, and automation
  • Experience administering Okta including SSO, group-based access, lifecycle workflows, and MFA policies
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID and Microsoft 365 in a hybrid identity environment
  • Understanding of endpoint security and access controls
  • Experience supporting collaboration tooling including Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, and Atlassian.
  • Experience operating in a global team; comfort coordinating across time zones and supporting users remotely
  • Strong incident handling discipline, with the ability to document actions clearly enough to support audit and regulatory review.
  • Travel required up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a fintech, financial services, or family office environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as JAMF 200, Okta Certified Administrator, Apple Certified Support Professional, CompTIA A+/Security+, or Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with secure access and cloud-based productivity tools.
  • Exposure to developer tools such as GitHub or JFrog.
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, or similar platforms.

Compensation:

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $90,000 -$120,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including ย paid time off ranging from 15 to 25 days based on years of service, paid sick and safe leave, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental time off, birth mother recovery pay, sick family member pay, parental ramp back up program, gym reimbursement and generous employer match for 401k.ย
