Job Description Project Manager Location: Exeter, RI Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a portfolio of projects and business initiatives while ensuring priorities are effectively planned, executed, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position will provide visibility into project progress, risks, dependencies, resource requirements, and overall portfolio performance across multiple concurrent workstreams. The ideal Project Manager brings strong experience in project and portfolio management, project prioritization, resource and capacity planning, stakeholder management, and performance reporting.

This individual will work across business functions to establish project priorities, maintain accountability, manage risks, and ensure initiatives are delivered according to established timelines and objectives. The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through implementation and closure while helping strengthen project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of projects, business initiatives, and continuous improvement activities Develop and maintain a portfolio roadmap aligned with strategic priorities and business objectives Monitor portfolio health, project dependencies, resource capacity, and competing priorities Provide portfolio-level reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making Establish and maintain consistent project governance, methodologies, and reporting requirements Facilitate project intake, evaluation, and prioritization processes Evaluate proposed projects based on business value, risks, resource requirements, organizational impact, and strategic alignment Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success measures Maintain visibility into project demand and organizational resource capacity Identify delivery constraints, dependencies, risks, and opportunities during strategic planning Manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and closure Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables Track project performance against established timelines, budgets, and objectives Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are completed on schedule and meet established requirements Establish and maintain project and portfolio dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks Provide regular project updates covering status, milestones, risks, resource utilization, and delivery performance Implement corrective actions when projects fall behind established objectives Track project outcomes and benefits realization against defined business objectives Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and records Build effective relationships with project sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and portfolio review sessions Communicate project decisions, changes, risks, and priorities to appropriate stakeholders Drive accountability across project teams and stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, prioritization, resource management, and governance processes Capture lessons learned and implement project management best practices Support the adoption and continued improvement of project management and change management methodologies Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field Professional experience managing multiple concurrent projects, initiatives, or workstreams Strong knowledge of project and portfolio management principles, methodologies, and governance practices Experience managing projects from initiation through implementation and closure Experience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables Experience with project intake, evaluation, and prioritization Strong understanding of resource management and capacity planning Ability to identify, evaluate, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies Experience developing project reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and leadership updates Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple levels of an organization Experience facilitating project meetings, reviews, and stakeholder discussions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills Experience using project management and reporting software, including Wrike Ability to drive accountability and project execution within a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a portfolio of projects in addition to individual project delivery Experience with New Product Development (NPD), product development, manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or other technical projects Experience developing portfolio roadmaps and supporting strategic planning cycles Experience with formal stage-gate or project governance processes Experience with benefits realization and project performance measurement Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives Experience working across globally distributed teams Experience implementing or improving project management processes, tools, and methodologies Job presented by M Force Partners M Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
