Job description

You will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Client Details A privately owned construction company with a strong presence across the Midwest and a diverse portfolio spanning multifamily, commercial, institutional, and other complex building projects. The company has built its reputation on repeat clients, quality project delivery, and a team-oriented approach, offering Project Managers the resources and autonomy to manage successful projects without being buried in unnecessary corporate layers. Description Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans Lead subcontractor and vendor coordination Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget Maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, and trade partners Identify and mitigate project risks Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders Ensure quality, safety, and contractual requirements are maintained throughout the project Profile Combination of multifamily and commercial construction experience strongly preferred Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractor management Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field teams Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required Job Offer $110,000-$130,000 base salary Competitive bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution/match Paid time off and company holidays Life and disability insurance Professional development and continuing education opportunities Career advancement opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of multifamily and commercial projects MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
