Job description

The Project Manager oversees, strategizes, and implements the planning, production, and logistics of specific projects that may have durations ranging between 2 weeks to 3+ years.

Basic Requirements


  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong ability to work as part of a team, highly effective communication skills, solution oriented-critical-forward thinking are required for this position. You must be a self-starting, highly motivated team member committed to personal, company, and project success. This is a full-time position based in our office and will require project-related travel.


This position requires individuals to perform a wide range of duties, including some or all of the following:


  • Work with senior management/sales to understand the project's scope and report progress throughout durations.

    • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards according to company policies and contract specifications.

  • Work with the project team to define the activities needed to complete the project.

  • Determine the resources required to complete the project and the requisite supplies, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project.

  • Create and review project schedules with senior management and other staff affected by project activities, revising the schedule as needed.

  • Work with the superintendent and foreman to plan, organize, and direct activities concerning site construction projects.
  • Discuss matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

  • Maintain liaison with clients and other contacts to facilitate project activities.

  • Monitor and control projects through administrative direction to ensure completion of projects within schedule and budget.

  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures after conferring with senior management.

  • Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.

  • Work with the Contract Administrator to manage the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests and maintaining good relationships with clients and subcontractors/vendors.

  • Formulate reports concerning work in progress, costs, and scheduling.
