Position Description
  • A Project Administrator supports project managers, project supervisors, general superintendents, and division managers.
  • The standard workload can include working on multiple projects or with multiple project staff at any given time. Organizational skills, time management, and logical decision-making skills are needed.
  • Internally, they work closely with peers, accounting, and administrative staff.
  • Externally, they work with owners and their representatives, engineers, customers, other general contractors, subcontractors, various vendors, regulatory agencies, and the general public.
  • One may be called to assist with contract execution, contract documents management, documentation of project correspondence, issuance of subcontract agreements and purchase orders, handling submittals in a timely fashion so as to prevent project delays, developing and maintaining schedules (including CPM), pre-construction and progress meeting attendance, regular and timely project billing (at least monthly), weekly tracking or in-place work quantities, accurate preparation of monthly project management reports, approval of all materials and subcontractor payables, and job-site visits.
  • Blue-print reading, specification reading, and contract language understanding will be helpful.
  • Communication, computer (and other technology), and people skills are also required.
  • Clerical work and running of errands are typical activities.
  • As a representative of the company, the PA must always conduct themselves professionally, model behavior desired of subordinates and be accountable to enforce adherence with company policies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Able to pick up 25 lbs.
  • Move full range of motions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Commercial and utility plumbing experience is preferred.
