  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, coordination drawings, and other construction documents

  • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and BIM/VDC coordination

  • Work with Superintendents and Foremen to develop sequencing, manpower plans, and field execution strategies

  • Coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain project schedules

  • Ensure project teams have the information, materials, equipment, and resources needed for successful execution

Build Strong Client & Partner Relationships

  • Lead and participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and client discussions

  • Communicate project status, schedule, financial considerations, and potential challenges clearly and proactively

  • Build strong relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and consistent project execution

  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle

  • Represent VMG professionally with customers and industry partners

Drive Schedule, Quality & Safety
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field leadership and project partners

  • Monitor project milestones, procurement requirements, and construction progress

  • Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to maintain productivity and resolve field challenges

  • Support VMG's safety expectations and ensure project teams comply with applicable safety requirements

  • Maintain quality standards and ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements

  • Proactively manage project risks and elevate significant concerns when necessary

Manage Project Closeout
  • Coordinate equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and system turnover

  • Manage punch-list activities and outstanding project requirements

  • Ensure closeout documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other deliverables are completed

  • Coordinate final project acceptance with clients and project partners

  • Support warranty transition and resolution of post-construction items

  • Conduct project reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future performance

What You Bring

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of project profitability

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
