Job description

A growing, employee-owned engineering firm with over 40 years of industry experience and recognition as a top systems integrator is looking to hire a Sr. Project Manager. The company promotes an ownership mentality, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and long-term client relationships, while putting a strong focus on developing and supporting its employees.

The Senior Project Manager role is a leadership position responsible for independently managing automation and construction-related projects from initiation through completion. You will oversee all aspects of project execution—including financial performance, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality—while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and guide both internal teams and clients toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end project execution (scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety) with minimal oversight
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules (MS Project/Primavera), and execution strategies
  • Oversee resources, subcontractors, procurement, and project financials, including change orders and forecasting
  • Conduct risk analysis, earned value tracking, and provide regular project status updates to leadership and clients
  • Build strong client relationships, support business development efforts, and contribute to proposals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and automation teams, ensuring alignment with technical scope and progress
  • 6–10 years of project management experience; PMP certification preferred
  • Background in construction, with datacenter or semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Travel & Work Environment:

  • Willingness to relocate to U.S. project sites
  • Approximately 25% travel outside of construction assignments
  • Hands-on presence in industrial and construction environments, including extended time on job sites
