Job Title: Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager Job Status: Full-Time Exempt Employee — two openings

Job Summary:

5-STAR Building Solutions is hiring two project management professionals to join our team: One Assistant Project Manager and one Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the management and delivery of Commercial Multifamily Wood Framing projects, from startup through closeout, serving as the primary office-side partner to both our General Contractor clients and our field crews. We are filling both positions at the same time, so we encourage candidates at either experience level to apply. Tell us about your background and we will match you to the level that fits. Responsibilities and Duties —

Both Levels: Plan and execute large Wood Framing projects focused on Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget Develop, communicate, and execute project plan in conjunction with field staff Develop staging, logistics, and phasing plan for project in conjunction with field staff Assist with project quality control plan, implementation, and compliance in conjunction with field staff Serve as the main office point of contact for the General Contractor leading customer service efforts Responsible for project startup, including managing jobsite mobilization, production, and closeout Facilitate framing preconstruction meetings with General Contractor Lead and attend weekly project meetings Schedule of Value development and billing Manage vendor and subcontractor performance Ensure deadlines are met and costs are accurately captured Maintain project & contract documents utilizing Procore software Develop, plan, and maintain the overall project schedule and related tasks in Wrike software Coordinate material management with understanding of takeoffs and knowledge of project Create and manage submittal packages, RFIs, and change orders Additional Responsibilities —

Project Manager Level: Lead General Contractor negotiations on change orders, schedule impacts, and scope disputes Contribute to preconstruction planning and bid strategy on new pursuits Mentor and train Assistant Project Managers, project assistants, and intern students Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field — an equivalent combination of field and project experience will be considered in place of a degree Assistant Project Manager: minimum 2 years of Commercial Multifamily construction experience

Project Manager: minimum 5 years of Commercial Multifamily construction experience, including direct ownership of project delivery Experience with wood framing, panelized construction, or structural trades preferred Qualifications and Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills Demonstrated professionalism and sense of accountability Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to focus on multiple tasks across multiple projects Deadline and detail oriented Strong leadership qualities and the ability to earn trust with field crews and clients alike Collaboration skills with team orientation Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Excel; experience with Wrike or similar scheduling software is a plus Proficient in reading and interpreting structural and architectural plans Technical writing and oral communication skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% company paid Medical, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance – eligible the first of the month following 60 days of employment 401K Savings Plan – eligible the first of the month following 90 days of employment Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, holidays) Why work here? 5-STAR Building Solutions is bringing innovation to the framing industry, and our project managers are at the center of it.
