Position Summary

This role is responsible for leading concurrent customer-facing and internal projects from planning through go-live, hyper-care, and operational handoff. This role manages scope, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, risks, documentation, stakeholder alignment, and operational readiness to ensure successful delivery against business and customer commitments. Manage all necessary status and escalation communication throughout the quality of deliverables to support management requirements.

  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects with defined scope, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, critical path tracking, risk mitigation strategies, dashboards, and status reporting.
  • Lead structured customer-facing and internal requirements-gathering sessions to define, validate, and confirm project scope.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, expectation management, and delivery against commitments.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Operations, IT, Engineering, Commercial, and other stakeholders by clarifying ownership, expectations, and success criteria.
  • Provide clear project status updates, risk assessments, escalation communications, and executive summaries.
  • Solve problems, remove barriers, and deliver value-added solutions that support successful project outcomes.
  • Manage scope changes, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks to protect delivery commitments and business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, track milestones, prepare Steering Committee updates, and facilitate post-implementation reviews.

Implementation of Governance & Readiness:

  • Establish project governance frameworks, escalation matrices, Go/No-Go criteria, approval authorities, and RACI matrices.
  • Conduct complexity and staffing assessments; assign a Single Point of Accountability; seek resource adjustments where needed.
  • Ensure workstream leads remain engaged in requirements gathering, BRD review, UAT design, UAT testing, cutover, and hyper-care.
  • Facilitate process-to-system workshops and document workflows, process maps, exceptions, requirements, and formal SME sign-offs.
  • Develop, document, and benchmark implementation processess, including SOPs for each project and applicable workstream.
  • Define test scenarios, UAT ownership, acceptance criteria, and defect thresholds; coordinate UAT cycles and defect resolution.
  • Validate file types, data flows, and integrations end-to-end; maintain file readiness matrices and secure business/customer sign-offs.
  • Maintain executive summary dashboards, track risks, blockers, and milestones, and escalatie issues early with recommended isations.
  • Define rollback triggers, ownership, procedures, and decision criteria; document and test rollback plans where applicable.
  • Coordinate cutover planning, go-live validation, operational handoff, issue management, and post-launch hyper-care support.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Supply chain graduates with approximately two years of experience and/or preferably MBA graduates.
  • 5+years of project management experience, including project planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and delivery management.
  • Competent and proficient understanding of PC platforms and software, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows, Teams .
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines .
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, risks, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, track milestones, prepare Steering Committee updates, and facilitate post-implementation reviews.
  • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply chain, logistics, distribution, operations, or related experience.
  • Platform governance, systems ownership, business process improvement, or system implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting UAT, integrations, data readiness, cutover planning, post-go-live support, or PMP certification.

This job operates in an onsite professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and smartphones. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (verbal/written), converse with, and exchange information with others. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally move between their workspace and office machinery. The person in this position must operate a computer and may operate other office machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator; and pull/retrieve/file documents in a filing cabinet. May need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
