Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise technology initiatives that support AEG Presents business operations and strategic objectives. This position partners closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders to manage projects across cloud services, network infrastructure, data storage solutions, enterprise systems, and related technology platforms. The Technical Project Manager oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder communication, and project execution. This role applies project management best practices and Agile methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business and technical requirements.

Essential Functions

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise technology projects, including scope definition, project scheduling, milestone tracking, resource planning, risk management, and project reporting to ensure successful project outcomes. Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to gather requirements, identify dependencies, resolve project issues, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. Facilitate Agile project management processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, status meetings, change management activities, deployment coordination, and project tracking utilizing Jira, Confluence, or similar tools. Manage project budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, statements of work, and third-party service providers to ensure project deliverables are completed within approved timelines and budgets. Develop and communicate project status updates, executive summaries, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders. Support security, compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance initiatives by coordinating project activities and ensuring adherence to established organizational standards and requirements

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4-6 years Managing technical IT projects, including IT infrastructure, cloud, data center, networking, or storage initiatives, including project budget tracking and management
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and project lifecycle management principles.
  • Knowledge of enterprise technology environments, including cloud platforms, networking infrastructure, storage solutions, and data center operations.
  • Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Preferred: Experience in the entertainment, live events, or media industries.

Payscale: $82,924.00 - $128,605.00 Annually

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
