The Medicaid Clinical Operations team is looking for a Project Manager to manage cross-functional projects that support clinical operations, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and business transformation projects across Medicaid programs. You will ensure end-to-end project delivery, completing projects on time, within scope, and aligning them to organizational goals.

We are looking for strong collaboration across clinical, operational, technology, compliance, and business stakeholders to drive successful implementation of strategic initiatives. You will work independently, applies established project management methodologies, proactively mitigates risks, and ensures operational readiness and successful outcomes. This role report to the Associate Director, Program Management and PMO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and successful project outcomes.

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics while ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Facilitate governance processes, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.

  • Partner with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to gather requirements, drive alignment and engagement.

  • Coordinate cross-functional implementation and process improvement activities to support operational readiness, deployment, and adoption of new processes, systems, and capabilities.

  • Manage project forecasting, compliance requirements, and adherence to organizational standards and governance practices.

  • Leverage project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and project delivery excellence.

Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • 3+ years of project management experience, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion.

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and at least one project management tool such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Must be available to work Eastern standard time zone hours no matter what time zone you reside.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred; equivalent training and demonstrated project management experience will also be considered.

Additional Information
  • Workstyle: This is a remote position with travel.

  • Travel: Up to 10% travel, including occasional visits to Humana offices for team engagement meetings

  • Workdays and Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$71,100 - $97,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
