Job description

As a Project Manager (PM) you will be responsible for project performance and profit from day one. You will work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings. Finally, you will exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes, making necessary changes, using customer input to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field) and/or Construction Management
  • 2-7+ years of hands-on construction experience as a project manager, assistant project manager, field engineer or related internships
  • Computer skills: proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
  • Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
  • Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
  • Make sound decisions under tight deadlines, and continually re-evaluate the project priorities
  • Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict
