We are seeking an experienced Interior Designers and Design Consultants with a passion for luxury furniture sales to serve our discerning clientele and manage high-end residential design projects from concept to completion.


The Role

As an Interior Designer / Design Consultant, you are both a creative professional and a consultative salesperson. You will guide clients through a seamless design journey-building trust, uncovering needs, and delivering beautiful, functional spaces while driving luxury furniture and design sales.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create an inviting, low-pressure showroom experience that builds lasting client relationships
  • Consult with clients in-store and in-home to interpret lifestyle, aesthetic, and functional needs
  • Develop complete design solutions, including furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, rugs, window treatments, and accessories
  • Lead projects from initial concept through installation and final styling
  • Define project scope, timelines, and design fees aligned with client goals and budgets
  • Drive luxury furniture and design sales through confident product knowledge and storytelling
  • Prepare visual presentations, mood boards, samples, and space plans
  • Source and specify products from premium domestic and international vendors
  • Collaborate closely with internal support teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction
  • Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices in luxury interiors

Skills & Experience
  • Solid experience designing residential interiors (consultations, renovations, space planning, or new construction)
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales goals in a luxury furniture showroom or high-end retail environment
  • Strong expertise in furniture layouts, color, lighting, materials, fabrics, and custom furnishings
  • Working knowledge of design software such as Floorplanner, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or similar programs
  • A polished, professional portfolio showcasing completed projects
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities

Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a retail setting with design and sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field preferred, but not required
  • Ability and willingness to conduct in-home design consultations
  • Valid driver's license with reliable personal transportation
  • Availability to work weekends and select holidays (no evening hours)
