Project Manager
EnergySolutions has an immediate need for Project Managers in Seneca, SC.
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and successful execution of assigned EnergySolutions projects and contracts. This role ensures safe work environments, protects company assets, and represents EnergySolutions professionally in all client and stakeholder interactions. The Project Manager delivers projects to client satisfaction while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and contractual requirements. This position also maintains strong client relationships that support future business opportunities and ensures alignment with EnergySolutions' strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Scope Identification & Management Identify project scope and manage all phases of execution using independent judgment and discretion to ensure alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Resource Planning Maintain a working knowledge of labor, equipment, materials, and technical resources required to successfully complete the project.
  • Manpower Direction Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of project manpower, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive work execution.
  • Workflow Coordination Coordinate and support project workflow from planning through completion, ensuring activities remain within established budget parameters.
  • Risk Prediction & Mitigation Identify project risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies related to engineering design, vendor performance, and craft installation activities.
  • Cost Control Manage and control costs associated with engineering design, vendor contracts, and craft labor to maintain financial performance and meet project targets.
  • Influence & Leadership Influence actions and decisions of individuals and groups not under direct supervisory control to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Client & Plant Communication Provide clear written and face?to?face communication with mid?level plant leaders and stakeholders to support project progress and issue resolution.
  • Vendor Oversight Provide intrusive management of vendor companies to monitor and control timelines, quality, and scope of deliverables.
  • Additional Duties Perform other related project management duties as assigned to support EnergySolutions' operational and strategic objectives.

  • Unescorted Acccess Ability to successfully obtain unescorted access at a nuclear power plant.
  • Mechanical & Welding Skills Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions; assemble and disassemble mechanical components; operate small tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Shift & Craft Support Availability for shift work as needed and ability to support other crafts when requested.
  • Environmental Conditions Ability to work at varying heights, in confined spaces, in extreme heat or cold, and in loud environments exceeding 89 dB.
  • Ethics & Integrity Demonstrated high ethical standards, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • EnergySolutions Processes Ability to obtain and maintain working knowledge of EnergySolutions and client technical manuals, procedures, and project tools.
  • Training & Qualifications Ability to pass EnergySolutions and client?specific training and qualifications as required.
  • Emergent Work Support Subject to call?out for emergent nuclear station work; must be able to work overtime, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
