TANKS PROJECT MANAGER - Internal Applicants Only

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilledย Tanksย Project Managerย to join our project management team! You will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of tank projects within the organization. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, timelines, and budgets.

Compensation:ย Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.

Location:ย This position may require travel to project sites across North America.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of tank projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and report on any variances in scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned related toย tanksย project management.

Requirements

  • Must be an internal applicant with prior experience at Great Basin Industrial.
  • Bachelor's degree or work-related equivalent in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, specifically in tank construction or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in tank project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and MS Project.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
