Project Manager – Commercial Mechanical HVAC

 

Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000 annually (DOE, plus competitive benefits package)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with 5–10 years of proven experience in commercial mechanical HVAC to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This is a senior-level opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who can lead complex projects in the healthcare construction sector, ensure operational excellence, and deliver on time and within budget. If you are an expert in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and healthcare facility construction, this role offers the chance to make an impact while advancing your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial mechanical HVAC projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and close-out.

  • Oversee projects within the healthcare construction environment, ensuring compliance with all codes, safety regulations, and hospital requirements.

  • Review, interpret, and apply blueprints, shop drawings, and technical sketches with precision.

  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality installation and timely project delivery.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of commercial mechanical HVAC project management experience (healthcare construction required).

  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration products, systems, and installation methods.

  • Track record of success managing healthcare facility construction projects.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background, criminal, and drug screening.
