Job description

Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

Location: Edmonton, AB

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits + RRSP Matching


Position Summary

We're partnering with a well-established general contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a diverse portfolio of heavy civil and infrastructure projects in the Edmonton area.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a range of complex infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You'll take ownership of projects from planning through completion while working closely with clients, consultants, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with Site Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient project execution
  • Oversee contract administration, project documentation, and reporting
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
  • Experience delivering water, wastewater, bridge, or other heavy civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong background managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required
