Nikkiso ACD is an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as – 420 degrees Fahrenheit, the boiling point of Liquid hydrogen. For over 50 years, Nikkiso ACD has specialized in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps as well as turbines for air separation. Nikkiso ACD has the most diversified product line in the industry covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.


Working within the Project Management team, the coordinator is the responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of assigned projects, this proactive, cross functional role serves as coordinator that bridges the gap between different departments. The ideal candidate actively step into the trenches to resolve bottlenecks, accelerate timelines, and align production, planning, procurement, and engineering to guarantee project deliverables are met on time and within budget.


  • Cross Functional Coordination: Actively monitor project milestones and fluidly deploy across internal departments to resolve execution delays.
  • Production Acceleration: If product manufacturing falls behind schedule, embed with the production team to identify bottlenecks, reallocate focus, and assist in getting timelines back on track.
  • Material & Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate closely with Planning and Expediters to ensure material requirements are met. If parts have not been filled, proactively work to pull, organize, and ready parts for immediate production deployment.
  • Vendor & Procurement Intervention: Partner with the Procurement team to monitor supplier timelines. When vendors fall behind, actively intervene by, auditing lead times, and driving accountability to secure critical project updates and deliveries.
  • Project Controls & Meeting Leadership: Coordinate project activities with a strict focus on schedule, budget, and proactive risk mitigation. Lead or participate in Contractor meetings to giuve and receive feedback
  • Documentation & Data Validation: Manage critical project documentation, ensuring submittals, file validation, and document control meet exact formatting and compliance requirements for error-free, punctual delivery.
  • Assists with implementation and tracking of project budgets and schedules
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
  • Capable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with MS Project preferable

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:

Work Environmental and Physical Demands:

In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.

Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidays.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required.

Environmental Safety Requirements

  • New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
  • All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Technician
  • Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee’s direct supervisor will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis

Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPE’s include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with  safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
