Nelbud is seeking an experienced field operations leader to oversee Service Managers and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians throughout the New York City metropolitan area. Based out of our New York City branch, this role provides leadership and operational support across New York City and Long Island while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

We're looking for someone who enjoys coaching teams, solving operational challenges, and building a culture of accountability and safety.


What You'll Do
  • Oversee Service Managers and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians throughout the New York City metropolitan area, providing leadership, coaching, and operational support.
  • Drive safety, quality, and operational excellence across multiple crews.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, train, and develop employees.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, performance, and employee relations.
  • Monitor productivity, labor costs, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Visit job sites to support crews and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture.

Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing field technicians or mobile workforce teams is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, employee development, and performance management.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island.
  • This position primarily works daytime hours but must remain flexible to support evening and overnight field operations as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
  • FDNY Certificate of Fitness (W64 or P64) is a plus.

Driving Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Must be at least 20 years old.
  • Company vehicle provided for business travel.
