Job description

Seeking an experienced Interior Integration Engineer to support aircraft interior modifications for defense customers. The role involves engineering design, project coordination, certification support, and technical leadership while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of aerospace engineering experience.

Experience with aircraft interior engineering and systems integration.

Experience supporting aircraft modification and completion programs.

Knowledge of green aircraft and completion engineering.

Working knowledge of aircraft certification processes, including Type Design, Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), and major repairs/modifications.

Preferred: Team leadership or engineering lead experience.

Preferred: Project management experience within aerospace programs.

Technical Responsibilities

Support aircraft interior modification programs for defense customers.

Develop and execute engineering modification packages.

Lead engineering activities for assigned work packages.

Coordinate with suppliers, cross-functional engineering teams, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory agencies.

Develop engineering documentation, schedules, and technical deliverables.

Review engineering designs and proposed modification solutions.

Evaluate the impact of aircraft modifications on existing systems and configurations.

Support aircraft certification activities and compliance documentation.

Communicate project status, technical issues, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.

Ensure engineering work is completed on schedule while meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
