Job description

ERP SAVVY is seeking a seasoned Senior SAP WM Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP S/4 HANA Warehouse Management (WM) and related logistics solutions. This role will drive operational excellence and support transformation initiatives across global operations, focusing on WarehouseLogistics, and Procurement functions.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with Operations leadership and super users, locally and globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Lead the transition of warehouse operations from EBLC to Lodi, including SAP S/4 HANA Stockroom/WM configurationData conversionUnit testingSIT testingUAT testing, and inventory transfer.
  • Drive all phases of the S/4 Transformation project.
  • Manage SAP implementation projects in alignment with IT governance and methodologies.
  • Ensure integration of SAP WM solutions with enterprise architecture and other SAP modules.
  • Configure SAP WM and Logistics Execution modules to meet business needs, following SAP best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with development teams.
  • Provide end-user support, issue resolution, and training.
  • Promote continuous improvement and SAP best practices across operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ years of ERP design and management experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA WMStockroom ManagementLogistics Execution, and Shipping.
  • Proven expertise in SAP WM configuration: warehouse structure, picking/placement strategies, inventory counting.
  • Experience with RF barcode scanner solutions and hardware setup (scanners, label printers).
  • Strong understanding of integration with SAP MMSDPPFI modules and Global Trade Compliance tools.
  • Proficiency in Material MasterBatch ManagementSerial Number ManagementTransportation RoutesReportingQueries.
  • Experience supporting global operations and collaborating with offshore teams.
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale SAP implementations and solution design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and execute complex projects independently.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with validated systems and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of SAP GTS and SAP Process Weaver.
