Role: Project Manager
Provides overall leadership and accountability for the EAM/CMMS implementation and serves as the primary point of contact between the vendor and the City.
Required/Recommended Experience
8-10 years of IT project management experience; 5+ years managing EAM/CMMS, ERP, utility, municipal, or public-sector implementations; PMP preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, resources, governance, stakeholder communication, deliverables, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
Mode:
Hybrid (City of Spokane, Spokane, WA). Onsite for kickoff, discovery workshops, major design sessions, UAT readiness, steering meetings, cutover, and go-live. Routine coordination and reporting may be remote
Project Overview: The City of Spokane is implementing a new enterprise EAM/CMMS platform to replace Cityworks and Maintenance Connection. The solution will support asset management, work orders, inspections, service requests, inventory, preventive maintenance, GIS-based field operations, reporting, integrations, and mobile/offline use across multiple Public Works departments.
The project includes system configuration, data migration, embedded ArcGIS workflows, integrations with SharePoint, Entra ID SSO, ServiceLink/enQuesta, Power BI/SSRS, webhooks, and a custom Water application. The implementation is planned for approximately 10 months, beginning November 16, 2026, with key milestones covering discovery, solution design, configuration, migration, integrations, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare. The work will be hybrid, with onsite participation in Spokane required for key workshops, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
