Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Optimization Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH (Remote Mondays & Fridays; Onsite Tuesdays-Thursdays)
Rate: Up to $90/hour
Contract Length: 6 months (Strong possibility of extension)
Contract Type: W-2 Only (U.S. Citizens only - No visa sponsorships)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Warehouse Optimization Project Manager to lead transformation projects across warehouse operations. This role will focus on driving initiatives such as layout redesign, process improvement, and technology enablement to support operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage warehouse transformation projects with a focus on improving layout, workflow, and process efficiency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for safety, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  • Coordinate across internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution and resource alignment.
  • Integrate project milestones, outcomes, and benefits into central PMO tracking and reporting systems.
  • Ensure alignment of warehouse projects with broader organizational goals and PMO standards.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Demonstrated success leading warehouse layout redesign and operational improvement projects.
  • Strong vendor management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools and PMO reporting systems.
  • Experience in change management and technology implementation in warehouse settings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Utilities industry experience preferred.
