Job Summary:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join our collaborative and solution-focused Project Management Office (PMO). This role supports organizational initiatives by coordinating project activities, facilitating communication, and ensuring documentation and compliance standards are met across a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, the Project Coordinator helps drive successful execution and continuous improvement efforts.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized professional who values meaningful, mission-driven work-especially in healthcare or similarly complex environments. You will coordinate projects that strengthen operations, drive measurable outcomes, and directly support organizational strategy. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with the ability to work remotely up to two days per week.
Job Description:
What You'll Do:
  • Independently coordinate multiple projects across departments, including clinical engineering, IT/IS, Pharmacy, Imaging, Finance, strategic initiatives, and workflow improvements
  • Partner with project managers and team members to support project execution
  • Assist with complex projects and contribute to PMO initiatives
  • Develop and coordinate project scope, deliverables, and timelines aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify and coordinate resources required for project success
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication and collaboration

What You Bring:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in project coordination, team leadership, or program support preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate cross-departmental activities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Coachable mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools preferred

Compensation Information:
$29.08 - $50.89
The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
