As a Project Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH or Dallas, TX.
The Project Manager III will support the Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) organization, specifically focusing on segments undergoing strategic change. This role will manage projects across lending, leasing, and other evolving business areas. The ideal candidate is adaptable and capable of supporting cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead endtoend project delivery across assigned C&IB business segments.
Partner with Business leaders and stakeholders to support strategic initiatives within lending, leasing, and other transformation areas.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Drive budget management as a core responsibility, ensuring financial discipline and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate resource allocation across teams, ensuring proper staffing and prioritization.
Utilize project management tools (e.g., Clarizen, Jira) to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure accurate reporting.
Prepare executivelevel updates, dashboards, and documentation.
Collaborate closely with technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities to improve project execution and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to project governance standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications

  • Manages the most complex projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment. Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes. May be assigned a single project or a portfolio, requiring extensive planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, project size may be greater than $2.5m.
  • Develops strategy, processes, resource allocation, budget, guidelines and support of project management team.
  • Partners with internal project liaisons to acquire resources, assigns tasks, directs activities, and controls project execution. Coaches and mentors project team members.
  • Tracks and reports progress, analyzes the results based on facts, defines the products of the project, and forecasts future trends in the project. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, devises contingency plans and recommends improvements based on results.
  • Maintains communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
