Job Title: Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (M/E/P) Internย

Work Schedule: Full-time/40-hours - In Personย ย 

Salary Range: $24 - $29/hourย 

The MEP Intern supports the engineering team in preparing design and construction documents, coordinating details, and resolving general M/E/P and sustainable design issues. This role offers hands-on experience in drafting, engineering calculations, and research to identify and address conflicts within design documents, providing valuable exposure to M/E/P systems in a construction environment.

Responsibilities / Essential Functionsย 
  • Assist in the preparation of design and construction documents, addressing general M/E/P and sustainable design challenges.ย 
  • Review and coordinate details and dimensions to ensure accuracy and constructability.ย 
  • Perform basic drafting tasks and compile engineering data from prescribed sources.ย 
  • Research and recommend solutions for design document issues, including conflicts, interferences, and errors.ย 
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to integrate M/E/P systems seamlessly within overall project plans.ย 
  • Support the review and revision of drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry codes and project requirements.ย 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation to support project management, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence.
