Job description

Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.
We are seeking a Program Manager to effectively manage the creation and enhancement of our supply chain and transportation networks. In this role, you will scope large projects, track project timelines, and develop mechanisms for communicating status, risk, and business challenges. The ideal candidate must be adept at cross-team coordination, project management, and data analysis, with a proven history of delivering results.

- Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
- Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.

About the team
GL Exports Network Operations team is responsible for the day-to-day North American operation for Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), overseeing operations at 15 Sort Centers (SC) and 60 Fulfillment Centers (FC) connected to over 35 carrier hubs throughout the country and abroad

We are also responsible for initiatives such as Speed, New Lane Launches and standardization of Network Configuration within our network which help drive performance of Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA), Estimated Arrival Date (EAD) and reductions in Defects per Million Orders (DPMO). We serve as the key POCs for any operational element within our network.
