A leading international law firm is seeking an Energy & Natural Resources Finance Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, private equity sponsors, energy companies, infrastructure investors, and project developers in sophisticated energy, infrastructure, and finance transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of finance, project finance, energy finance, or corporate transactional experience
• Experience with energy, infrastructure, project finance, or natural resources transactions preferred
• Experience representing lenders, sponsors, investors, developers, or borrowers preferred
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, security agreements, and transaction documents
• Familiarity with renewable energy, conventional energy, power, infrastructure, or natural resources projects is a plus
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
