The Project Executive is responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and support staff within the Design and Construction Department of Adrenaline with a focus on the Financial Market. Their primary focus will be managing our larger and more complex work while leaning in to support and mentor the project management team as needed.


Accountabilities

  • Operate at a strategic and tactical level within their assigned projects to ensure that the relationship is positive, expectations are set and managed appropriately, and the account remains a consistent source of sustained business.
  • Oversee revenue goals and projected margin expectations established and/or endorsed by the management team at Adrenaline.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Act as liaison between external architects/engineers, client vendors, and internal design resources to coordinate and support project development.
  • Team and departmental growth.


Responsibilities

  • Operate at a project level with a strong level of independence, taking initiative and making informed decisions to drive results while requiring only minimal guidance.
  • Lead project development from initial client engagement through full project lifecycle including design intent, construction drawings development, preconstruction services and full implementation.
  • Prepare, gather, and assemble accurate scope and project cost information for proposals and change orders
  • Build strong client relationships, staying close to objectives, and client goals.
  • Be a critical and strategic thinker and know how to prioritize.
  • Provide directions to cross-functional teams within Adrenaline to ensure the successful program and project execution.
  • Work with project management team and collaborate with external partners to ensure concept solutions work as intended and fit within client budget and schedule parameters
  • Provide strategic guidance and monitor project teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Actively mentor and develop team members by recognizing growth opportunities, facilitating regular feedback, and guiding their professional progress to elevate overall performance.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction related field preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retail construction means, methods and best practices and related systems
  • Able to schedule projects in “Critical Path” progression and budget time required to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Custom proposal writing experience
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team management and development experience
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of construction drawing and specification development
  • Adept at evaluating potential project risks and enacting mitigation efforts
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excels while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam (or similar)
  • Knowledge of design and construction work for the banking and retail industry a plus
