JOB SUMMARY: The focus of this position will be to work with current and potential customers to promote the products of Soarus and MSI Technology. Working in a team atmosphere, the Technical Sales Representative will strive to optimize both the volumes and value of our product portfolios.



Requirements:

ESSENTIAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Works closely with business leaders to learn sales processes by completing the Sales Trainee Training Program, required projects, and assigned tasks.

2) Utilizes best sales practices when calling on existing customers to maintain business relationships and cold calling on new businesses to establish relationships and determine new sales opportunities.

3) Promotes the Soarus culture and positive business ethics through ongoing business relationships and activities.

4) Analyzes sales and market data; summarizes and reports on business and market trends.

5) Provides feedback regarding product issues and development opportunities to enhance sales profitability.

6) Updates sales and business job knowledge by participating in educational and self-development improvement opportunities; reading sales and marketing publications; maintaining professional connections and networks; participating or being a member of sales and marketing networks.

7) Participates in sales forecasting and planning.

8) Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales.

9) Liaise with the customer service team and suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders.

10) Provide leadership and assist in mentoring junior sales staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1) Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Polymer Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a Related Field from an Accredited College or University.

2) Five to Ten years of Technical Sales experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1) Experience in Polymer or Packaging Sales a Plus
