Job Description

Position Summary

Miller Newell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (3-7 years of experience) to support HVAC and plumbing design as we expand our presence in Northwest Arkansas. This role offers hands-on project involvement and direct collaboration with senior leadership in a growing regional office.

This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants meaningful responsibility, client exposure, and the ability to grow alongside a developing market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects

  • Perform load calculations and equipment sizing

  • Prepare construction documents and specifications

  • Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors

  • Participate in site visits and construction administration

  • Contribute to project meetings and client interactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 3-7 years of relevant MEP design experience

  • PE preferred, EI's on path to licensure considered.

  • Plumbing design experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in Revit. AutoCAD experience valued

  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
