Description:

The Software Engineer I supports software design, development, and maintenance tasks in a NAVSEA Program Office Support role. This role contributes to coding, testing, and technical documentation under senior engineering direction.
This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected in 3-6 months.

Requirements:

- Academic or internship experience developing software in structured project environments.
- Familiarity with source control, issue tracking, and software testing fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics.
- No required professional experience.
- Ability to support software lifecycle tasks and follow engineering standards/processes.
