We’re looking to add a Senior Director, Project Management to our Operations team. The Senior Director will play a pivotal leadership role in driving delivery of excellence, financial performance, and operational consistency across a portfolio of accounts and projects. The Senior Director will act as a bridge between the execution teams and executive leadership, providing insight, driving alignment, and ensuring that delivery of excellence, financial health, and operational efficiency remain foundational to our success.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Director, Project Management will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for the performance, development, and operational excellence of the project management function. Additionally, this role will:

  • Drive consistent delivery standards across all projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met or exceeded
  • Oversee portfolio-level project execution, proactively monitoring scope, resourcing, workflows, and delivery risks
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to support accurate forecasting, maintain account health, and **escalate or resolve delivery issues**
  • Ensure disciplined use of Workfront, including accurate project setup, workflow design, status updates, and close-out processes
  • Partner with teams to support budget development, ROI considerations, scope management, and change control processes
  • Monitor project-level financial performance, identifying issues that impact margin, capacity, or timeline feasibility
  • Run and analyze project, utilization, and performance reports to identify trends and optimize staffing and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Operations and other teams to refine enterprise delivery processes, governance standards, and best practices
  • Identify inefficiencies, delivery gaps, or systemic issues across teams and lead efforts to improve operational flow
  • Contribute to scalable solutions that support growth, improve cross-functional coordination, and enhance delivery predictability
  • Mentor and develop a team of Project Managers to promote high performance, accountability, and professional growth
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on project planning, scope development, budget oversight, and risk mitigation
What You’ll Have
  • 7–10 years of project management or delivery experience, ideally in a professional services, medical communications, advertising agency, or similar project-based environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing project management teams
  • Strong project planning, workflow design, and operational management expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and related collaboration tools
  • Expertise in Workfront or comparable project management platforms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • A continuous improvement mindset committed to operational excellence, scalability, and client satisfaction
  • Ability to operate autonomously while guiding teams to achieve project, operational, and financial goals
