The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of portfolio and project management. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting project planning and execution of enterprise projects; from requirements gathering through implementation. In many scenarios they will be engaging more than one of our divisions simultaneously and will be expected to incorporate change management methods that gain stakeholder and employee buy-in.
ProMach is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to work on the Corporate IT Team. The role will assist with business-critical ERP implementations and process improvements, data/analytics projects, and related IT development requests. The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of projects from planning through delivery, including scheduling and overall delivery quality. This role reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, and integration projects from initiation through stabilization.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, risk registers, communication plans, and governance structures.
  • Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, ERP vendors, implementation partners, and third-party consultants.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management to maintain project momentum and minimize business disruption.
  • Ensure successful transition from legacy systems while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Facilitate project steering committees, executive reviews, and status reporting.
  • Establish and maintain project management standards, templates, and best practices for ERP initiatives.
  • Work closely and under strategic guidance of IT leadership to ensure projects are prioritized and executed on time, scope, and budget.
  • Manage the enterprise use-case backlog and prioritize initiatives in collaboration with business and technology leadership.
  • Facilitate use-case reviews to assess business value, complexity, strategic alignment, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery planning with data analysts, data engineers, and platform teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, functional teams, and technology organizations.
  • Facilitate alignment between competing priorities and stakeholder groups.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, with a strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, and the capacity to effectively manage a large number of concurrent technology projects.
  • Previous experience with ERP implementations, especially in a manufacturing organization highly desired
  • Experience integrating new businesses resulting from M&A activity required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, develop a path toward problem solving, and manage projects to completion.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities.
  • Capacity to continually prioritize with quickly changing project plans.
  • Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
  • The ability to think critically, make decisions and work independently, while adhering to company standards and guidelines and the ability and initiative to streamline and suggest improved processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Experience with Smartsheet preferred.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel at least 30%.
