SystImmune is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our HR & Talent Acquisition team for a paid, six-month onsite internship in Princeton, NJ.This role is designed for a college senior or recent graduate pursuing a career in human resources or talent acquisition who wants hands-on exposure to a fast-paced, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical environment. The intern will gain practical experience across full-cycle recruiting, HR operations, and interview coordination while supporting the day-to-day scheduling needs of the HR & TA team. This is a structured learning opportunity with real ownership, direct mentorship from experienced HR and TA professionals, and exposure to the systems, processes, and decision-making that keep a growing biotech running.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones for the HR & Talent Acquisition team, including candidate communications, calendar management, and interview logistics.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, tracking applicants in the ATS, and assisting with candidate pipeline reporting.
  • Assist with HR operations, including new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, employee file maintenance, HRIS data entry, and auditing records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft and post job descriptions to internal systems and external job boards, and help monitor candidate flow across open requisitions.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by serving as a point of contact for scheduling, confirmations, and day-of interview support for onsite and virtual interviews.
  • Support HR team meetings and projects, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and tracking follow-up items.
  • Contribute to HR process improvement initiatives, documentation, and special projects as assigned.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications
  • Current college senior or recent graduate (within 12 months) pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to commit to a full six-month internship and work onsite in Princeton, NJ.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, calendars, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-service oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel, and comfort learning new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and genuine interest in building a career in HR or Talent Acquisition.
Preferred:
  • Prior internship, part-time, or leadership experience in HR, recruiting, customer service, administration, or a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exposure to an applicant tracking system (ATS), HRIS, or scheduling tools such as Outlook Calendar, Teams, or Zoom.
  • Interest in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
