Job Overview


Supports the Friends of ACL team, goals and development processes related to the Friends of ACL and Waitlist membership programs. This includes maintaining membership records, gift records, facilitating external communications related to tapings and ongoing stewardship of donors within the programs.

Supports ticketing system and capacity of venue for ACL tapings. This includes donor RSVP's, ticketing customer support and interdepartmental allotment and distribution.

Supports additional cultivation, stewardship and activations around station events and priorities related to organizational revenue goals.


Duties and Responsibilities 


Administrative support of donor gifts and membership tracking:

  • Assist in maintaining donor records across databases to ensure accuracy of gift records, membership records, list management for communications, and ticketing accounts.
  • Support pledge payment reminder and acknowledgement processes for Friends of ACL, Waitlist, ACL and experiential related gifts.

Implementation and Stewardship of Friends of ACL program: 

  • Maintain capacity of Friends of ACL program by coordinating Friends of ACL and Waitlist membership renewal process, and filling available spots in the Friends program from the Waitlist.
  • Create and coordinate all electronic announcements and invitations related to ACL tapings, and support FOACL newsletter.

 Support ticketing, capacity and access to ACL tapings:

  • Implement ACL taping event build, ticketing infrastructure, and oversee capacity of venue to support a full studio audience for ACL tapings:
    • facilitate member, donor, sponsor and development RSVPs
    • facilitate Board and Staff RSVPs and ticket distribution
    • support interdepartmental allotments and needs 
  • Support customer support efforts related to the ticketing system and RSVPs for members
  • Support Will Call functions on-site at ACL tapings at ACL Live at The Moody Theater and other development-related events.
  • Coordinate with Austin PBS teams, LickonaVision team and venue staff on taping days to ensure an excellent experience for taping attendees.
  • Co-leads relationship with AXS Ticketing support.

Supports logistics, cultivation, stewardship and fulfillment of donor and sponsor deliverables at ACL Tapings, and other development and station events.


Other special projects and duties as assigned by the Development Director.

Requirements

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree desirable 
  • Experience with donor database(s) and eCRM(s) preferred
  • Experience with AXS FanAccount or other ticketing systems are a plus
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office a must.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Skills and confidence to efficiently and accurately work within a busy Development team.
  • Be a contributing member of the Austin PBS Development team.
  • Interact with members, donors, sponsors, underwriters, staff, Board and general public.
  • Be able to work under the pressure of deadlines and be able to multitask.
  • Must be willing to work events in person.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours for events, many outside of normal work day, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods of time as required by events.
