  • Training & development

Silver Oak Remodel is a well-established, award-winning design/build remodeling company based in Atlanta. We specialize in mid to high-end remodeling, renovations, additions, kitchens, and bathrooms. Our design process is just as much our product as our construction management and field craftsmanship.
We are seeking a dynamic individual with architectural design experience to fill a Project Developer position within our company. Project Developers (PDs) meet with prospective clients to understand their wants, needs and budget constraints. Next, they create a scope of work and design program for the project. PDs create schematic design plans and architectural details using CAD technology. PDs participate in the estimating process and ultimately sell the project. Ideally the individual will have a residential design certification or a similar level of experience. The individual needs experience meeting with clients, separate needs from wants, developing work scopes as well as initial designs that exceed the client’s expectation. We are looking for a talented individual with both technical skills and an outgoing personality who can communicate and connect with clients in a professional, organized, and concise manner.

The position requires the ability to read and draft blueprints, work with CAD technology and design floor plans and architectural details such as crown moulding, built-in shelving, and other moulding designs. PDs must be able to solve problems through creative space planning that ultimately increases value, provides for a comfortable living space, and accentuate certain areas of the home through effective use of space and lighting. Final renderings are created by our in-house CAD team, but initial design schematics and space planning is handled by the Project Developer.

We are looking for a high performer who expects the best for him/herself and our clients. We believe the way you do anything is the way you do everything. We expect a wholistic approach to professionalism. Everything must align from appears to communication to follow through. If you have the skills, experience, and desire to work for an established, yet growing company in the residential building and design sector, please send us your resume.
