Graham is actively recruiting for a Senior Project Coordinator to support the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is integral to the successful delivery of commercial, institutional, mixed-use, healthcare, educational, and high-rise residential construction projects valued between $40M and $500M+. Working closely with senior project staff, the Senior Project Coordinator supports planning, scheduling, procurement, cost control, contract administration, quality management, and field execution throughout the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of complex building projects.

 

Your Role in Building What Matters โ€“ From Office to Site

  • Coordinate Building Project Activities: Support the planning and execution of commercial, institutional, mixed-use, and high-rise construction projects by maintaining schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and cost controls while monitoring labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance
  • Manage Construction Documentation: Coordinate drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders while maintaining project records and document control systems
  • Support Meetings & Reporting: Attend project meetings with consultants, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners; record minutes, track action items, and provide timely project status updates
  • Oversee Change Management: Identify, document, and track scope changes, potential change events, and change orders, supporting cost reviews and contract administration activities
  • Ensure Safety & Quality Compliance: Support implementation of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP) and Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP), including inspections, deficiency tracking, NCR management, turnover documentation, and quality control processes related to structural, architectural, and building systems work

 

The Right Tools for the Job

  • Education: Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software; strong coordination, scheduling, contract administration, document control, and communication skills. Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and building project documentation is preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with a general contractor supporting commercial, institutional, mixed-use, healthcare, educational, or high-rise residential building projects. Experience coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP scopes is considered a strong asset.
