AGAR is seeking a full-time/on-site Project Finance Coordinator in the Greater Cincinnati area to support the financial management of projects from bid through closeout. • Source and manage vendors, compare quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure accountability for cost, scope, and timeline commitments
  • Track project spend, monitor job costs and profitability, identify variances, and communicate risks and recommendations to project teams and the Controller
  • Support financial documentation, including Statements of Work, change orders, reconciliations, job closeouts, project setup, and reporting
  • Maintain vendor rate databases, finance templates, reporting tools, and documented processes while supporting AGAR's values and ongoing process improvements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in estimating, procurement, vendor management, cost accounting, or project finance within a project-based, bid-driven environment
  • Strong ability to build accurate budgets and cost estimates quickly, even with incomplete information and tight deadlines
  • Experience managing vendor quotes, negotiations, cost accountability, budgeting, job costing, reconciliations, profitability analysis, and project financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience using accounting, project management, time-tracking, and reporting tools
  • Clear communicator with sound discretion; must pass a background check and provide professional references upon request

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a project-based, bid-driven environment such as experiential marketing, events/production, construction, architecture, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or a comparable ERP/accounting system
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience supporting Statements of Work, changing orders, reconciliations, job closing outs, or project margin analysis

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Retirement savings plan with company contribution
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Close-knit, collaborative team culture where your contributions are seen and valued
