Job description

Job Title: Special Projects Intern  

Employment Type:  Intern 

Division: Project Management 

Department: Special Projects 

Work Schedule: Full-time/40-hours - In Person  

Salary Range: $24 - $29/hour 

The Special Projects Intern will support project teams in various aspects of construction project management, from document handling to subcontractor coordination. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions 
  • Assist in document setup and management. 
  • Attend project meetings and take meeting minutes. 
  • Process bid lists and collect subcontractor pricing and scope summaries. 
  • Organize and attend subcontractor descope meetings. 
  • Create subcontractor leveling and scope sheets. 
  • Support permitting processes with local cities and towns. 
  • Assist with owner and subcontractor change orders. 
  • Prepare closeout binders, including O&M manuals and warranties. 
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other software tools efficiently. 
  • Maintain a general understanding of construction industry practices.
