Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support a Salesforce transformation. This role will be responsible for consolidating legacy Salesforce instances to a single enhanced platform while decommissioning tools, portals, and systems used by sales and support teams.

The experienced candidate is a hands-on program management leader with strong Salesforce implementation experience who can provide program leadership support and drive execution to consolidate changes and enhance the platform. The ideal candidate lives in Houston, Texas and can work a hybrid weekly schedule. Several days on-site in office and 1-2 days remote. Candidates willing to travel weekly to Houston TX will be considered but must live within reasonable distance to make travel efficient and direct. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Program Execution & Delivery

  • Lead and provide support for a Salesforce implementation and consolidation
  • Oversee migration from legacy Salesforce instances to a unified platform
  • Coordinate decommissioning of legacy portals, tools, and systems

Project & Program Management

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Drive workstream management, execution, and cross-functional alignment
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and communications
  • Ensure program milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Partner closely with program leadership to provide immediate operational and strategic support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including:
    • Development teams (including external vendor partners)
    • Change management teams
    • Business sponsors and leadership
    • Frontline sales and customer support users
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams

Salesforce Implementation Support

  • Support implementation and optimization of Salesforce capabilities
  • Ensure alignment across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud

Strategic Planning & Documentation

  • Support strategic planning initiatives and roadmap development
  • Own program documentation including governance materials, reporting, and process documentation
  • Drive best practices in program management and Salesforce delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of program/project management experience in complex, enterprise environments
  • Proven experience with Salesforce implementations in support, project management or leadership role managing Salesforce transformations is required
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Ability to work hybrid- onsite in Houston, Texas each week
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong executive level client facing collaboration experience
  • Excellent communication skills with experience delivering executive-level reporting
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, in-flight program
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud helpful
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or consulting partners a plus
  • Background in large-scale system consolidation or digital transformation initiatives preferred

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a consulting engagement with an hourly rate of $85-95/hour on 1099. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
