Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of utility construction projects by coordinating project administration, reporting, scheduling, procurement, and financial activities. This role maintains project documentation, tracks change requests, supports billing and payroll processes, and coordinates utility locates and project closeout requirements. Working closely with Project Managers, field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, the Project Coordinator provides project analysis and operational support to ensure efficient execution, compliance, accurate reporting, and timely project closeout.

What Youโ€™ll Do Here:
  • Support Project Managers in coordinating project administration, scheduling, construction activities, and overall project execution.
  • Identify, document, and track project change requests to support scope management and project delivery.
  • Analyze project and operational data, generating reports and insights to support decisionโ€‘making, client requirements, and performance tracking.
  • Administer project support functions, including billing, payroll, purchase orders, material procurement, progress reporting, and monthโ€‘end financial activities.
  • Coordinate utility locates and maintain areaโ€‘specific training records to support workforce compliance and operational readiness.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of project branding materials, including signage, apparel, vehicle decals, and customer communications materials.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, including final billing, documentation, ESRI closures, and submission of required testing and project records.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the utility construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, selfโ€‘motivated, and detail oriented.

The expected pay range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.

This role is eligible to participate in Aeconโ€™s discretionary Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP).
