Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are looking for a dedicated Part time/Full time COTA to join our team in the Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Florence, Coolidge and Mesa areas, offering one of the most competitive compensation packages in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the occupational therapist (OT) with implementing treatment plans and intervention activities designed by the OT to support functional goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services such as ADL training, fine motor activities, self-care routines, feeding skills and other functional task practices.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation of treatment provided, patient responses, and progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with parents and professionals to support the child’s progress.
  • Assist in patient and family communication, reinforcing therapy recommendations and answering questions within scope of practice.
  • Willingness to provide in-home services in San Tan Valley, Florence, Coolidge, Gilbert, Queen Creek and East Mesa areas is a plus!

Qualifications

  • Valid AZ state COTA licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.
